Bringing this back from the dead. This is indeed my situation. Since it's not a traditional circlip, it's really difficult to remove without warping it, and if you do it will NOT reinsert, as the tolerance is just too tight.No wonder it won't budge since you haven't even removed the back cover ;P Flathead screwdriver and hammer will do the job. Once it's off remove the circlip as mentioned before, now the cvj will easily slide off the shaft. While you are at it I would buy new circlips since the ones that are on gtv6 tend to deform while taking off, and may not fully engage in the groove afterwards.
Would anyone know the exact dimensions of the replacement part?
