I bought an upholstery kit and new foam for my '74 GTV.
Yes, it has the center console from a '71 in it for those who noticed.
I bought a beige Centerline upholstery kit and Mr. FIAT seat foams.
A long time Italian friend of mine who owns an upholstery shop did the assembly.
Huge difference compared to the tired seats that were in the car when I bought it!
The new kits transform the interior of the car.
The driver's seat will have to wait since his shop is overloaded with work.
Compare the drivers (old) to the passenger seat (new), in the second picture.
The guy called me and told me the previous owner simply slipped replacement upholstery over the original upholstery.
Thought I would share.
Cheers!

Looks good, but whats with the two buttons on the seat back? That's not original.

The car isn't original and it's just a daily driver so I'm not worried about whether it original or not.
It's a '74 with a '71 dash, '71 grill, '71 center console, dellortos, European air box and a European intake manifold and a great sounding exhaust system!
Very fun to drive!
These refinished seats are a HUGE improvement over the very tired original seats that were in the car when I bought it.
The old foam was very worn and the threads of the horizontal ribbing was all rotted away.
The guy at the upholstery shop had to use these buttons to pin the new upholstery down in to the seam.
The kit did not fit the foam correctly otherwise.
