Has anyone ever seen a reverse light sending unit on the gearbox tower? There is one in the bell housing as well. See Photo.

Thanks,John Gearbox Tower.jpg

I seem to recall a neutral switch for a seat belt warning or something on the tower of some of the 70's models. Be sure it's really just activated by the Reverse position and not forward gears as well.

Hey John, it always helps if you say what year and model you know its from or think its from. I'm guessing a later 2 litre car (GTV) and it is as said for seat belt signal I think.

Ciao

Oh sorry,
Yes it is for a 74 GTV. It did have the normal wires going to the switch inside the bell housing. Nothing was attached to the other connector. When I got this car, a lot of parts were missing so that added to the confusion.
Thanks!

John
