This is a picture of the front fender of a customer GTV. Look at how nicely the lips are rolled out. He says he had them done in the early 80's. This is one of the nicest GTV's I have ever seen. I need to take a picture of the whole car and post it.

I have a non-flare question. How does the gas
tank door work on the GTV's? I dont have a little
doo-dad sticking out to pry it open, and there is
no latch inside.

Reason Im asking, is that I noticed that the yellow
GTV picture also does not have anything to pry
the gas door open. My spider had a little crome
thingy that helped flip the gas door open.

You just push on the left hand side - past the hinge point - and it opens. The hinges are mounted a couple of inches in from the left hand edge. I've never seen a doodad - I think that would look funny.

Wheel flairs...

Since I'm diving into suspension and wheel upgrades, I was thinking about flaring out the rear wheel arches on the rear of my '72 GTV. Dose anyone know where to get fender flairs (half moon looking, not the GTAm look from Re-Originals)?

These are the types of fenders on my race car and I think you can get them from Anthony, but you will have to check with him. It allowed me to put a 205/60/R14 with a 1/2 inch spacer, but I will be going to a 1 inch spacer, so there is probably room for a 225

i found the studs that will allow us to throw on those 1" spacers with the 205/60 tires. if you wanna run the 225/60 gonna have to take the spacers off and go with a 1/2". there is no need to run the 225, 195 or 205 are the tires to go with.
