Any one try the channels now offered at Classic Alfa. They are said made from Aluminum. The metal looks thicker than the steel originals so I wonder if they are any problems fitting in the rubber? Also are they pre-drilled correctly for the existing screw holes?

RB004 CHANNEL SET FOR GT DOOR SEALS

Replacement door rubber channelset (for retaining main door seals) for all GTs, GTVs, GTAs & GTCs. Remade in anodised aluminium so they won't rust.

I've bought and installed two sets on two cars. Maybe 0.2 mm thicker, does not affect the fit or the performance. The through holes in the channels were spot on for one car but on the other car, the channels had a few holes that the sheet metal on the car didn't. This could be due to the P.O.s' repairs or then not be made at by the factory.

The factory original steel channels from these cars were thorough munched on by the tin worms in an almost identical fashion and extent.
