I am interested in buying a gtv offered through chequered flag in marina del rey. I was wondering if there was any member who might have seen this car and could comment on its condition or know it's history. I am on the east coast and I was going to have an appraisal done on this car. Any information would be helpful. I know Giulietta SS but my experience with the newer cars is limited.

Thank you

Stepnose?

1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Veloce, is this the one you are looking at? Looks like a great candidate for a complete restoration. I saw 3 spiders but this was the only coupe.

Yes that's the one I was interested in. Looks to be sound and mostly original . I've noticed the flywheel clutch cover is missing and the age of the axle straps and weatherstrip. I would like to use it and evaluate the components before I comit to a restoration. I've bought non running project cars before that I was unable to do this and had to rebuild everything, needing to be or not . Thanks for your interest . Bill
