Griswold Co. Was an Alfa & Ferrari dealer (as well as a restoration shop) in Berkeley Ca. Jon Norman‘s Alfa Parts was a spin-off from Griswold. He was their parts manager. Maybe Jon has some plate frames.

Griswold was the genesis of the Alfa scene in the Bay Area, which continues to this day. I wrote an article for the GiuliettaLetta on the Griswold shop, dealership, and many resulting shops when it closed. Includes Reilly Restoration, Ottis Ferrari, Norman Racing, Epifani Restoration, Jim Groome Racing, John Anderson Racing, Buskirk Alfa in Novato, Metras Alfa in San Rafael, on and on.
I'll dig out the PDF and post.
My first trip to Berkeley, 1976, stumbled upon Griswold, couldn't believe what they had on the showroom floor. Amazing place.
