Being from the States and not having first hand knowledge of the current 4 cyl engines, it's my understanding that the bottom ends are basically the same since the 750 series from the 1950s. If that's the case, then the bottom ends are virtually indestructable. Even if the occasional crank plug comes out and lowers the oil pressure by half, there are no longterm side effects (if it's repaired in a timely fashion, of course). Besides, the oil spray system is dependent on oil pressure, not oil level.
