Hello all Alfa Romeo Alfisti,

There is some disturbing news from Italy about the Alfa Romeo museum. The attached
document although not in good English explains it all.

This decision does not auger well for Alfa Romeo, especially when there are such
concerted attempts to revive the brand and the sales. Fiat actions cannot be seen as
brand building for Alfa but rather a nail in the coffin with interest being really
only for Fiat. I will do what I can through the clubs to register our derision for
the actions that Fiat intend on taking and support R.I.A.R. in their efforts.

Fiat will never endear themselves to the Alfisti like this. This communiqué has been
sent worldwide and will elicit tremendous support for Alfa Romeo and will demonize
Fiat in the eyes of the Alfisti.I have already received a number of local and
overseas calls and emails from very upset and disturbed members of many clubs about
this dreadful news which leads to my depressive impressive of the grey clouds
growing for Alfa Romeo.

Hello,

In summary, The Alfa Romeo collection and its archives have been secured for the
Italian nation as they are deemed historically important....but.....the Museum
building has been scheduled by Fiat to be destroyed.

It would be disgraceful if this happened as the Alfa Romeo collection and archives
would be most likely hidden away from public view and then deteriorate. Fiat Group
have destroyed most of what relates Alfa Romeo to Milan and therefore to Italy
already, and they must be made to keep the museum building. Here the cars can then
be seen for generations to come.

Please take a few moments to write on the petition here that will be shown to the
Italian government to hopefully make them save the museum building.

Just a few words will do, you don't have to write as much as I did!

Please just click on this link: www.alfaromeoarese.com and then in the bottom right
corner of the box that is over the picture of the old factory, click on "commenti"
to see past comments and write your own comments.

Please forward this email onto as many people as you can in the Alfa Romeo community
so that their comments can be shown to the Italian government too.

Thank you and best regards, Alessandra

Dear Friends

Something bad is going to happen .

The Arese Museum was below the historic and conservation national patrimonium
MINISTRY , i don't know if i'm explaining it correct.

THe Arese mairy has succeded month ago in appling a national law , maintaining that
Arese Alfa Romeo building , the cars, the archive , all documents and thing in the
structure were of national cultural interest and FIAT auto could not destroy, move
or sell anything concerning the museum.

Now Fiat say ok the cars the documents ok are national interests, but the building
because of expo 2015 i will sell it and destroy and it is pressing national
governament ( Berlusconi hate Fiat...but we are not lucky enought!)

This should not be done, because we have architectonic rules and Arese building was
projected by a famous architect Vito Latis ...and should be of historical interests(
otherwise colosseum would'nt have survived so many years....) But we are in Italy
andall is possible

Anyway the problem is if Fiat gets the agreement for the building...where do all the
cars will be stocked? no were....!! because Fiat has no money for another stucture
and ...if we are lucky will be locked in Torino undeground and no alfisti or no one
will see the museum for many many years,

if unlucky some pieces will be lost during the transport.........

So please write some words of disappointment on this web site that will be read by
the governament in Rome asproof of the international interest of the Museum.
