Richard.. hope all is well with your condenser issues... Yes the best way to check the pedigree on these is historic photos and in various stages of before and after photos along with lineage of owners. The counterfeiting circles are rife with probably more examples of cars in duplicates than there are that were real.

I'm more inclined to believe this has the provable provenance of 00001.. The ASI registration doesn't carry much water but there might be some archival evidence in the paperwork that reveals the pedigree.

The oversized tires are negatively accentuated by the car's diminutive proportions. These cars transcend artistry. I have no idea why this one sounds like a rattle trap on the cobbles .. It shouldn't let out a peep or squeak. It is the most solid platform Alfa ( er Zagato) ever made... fragile yet solid. .

Uncle, it remains a small car (diemensions) with a 1300 cm3...

I imagine that it will be sold at a much higher price, but at the same level, we will still have a classic Italian V12. not signed Zagato, but finally...

my 1,5 cents :)
It's difficult to mix values of mouse power with Ferraris and justify them.. Look at what the diminutive Porsche Speeders bring and they were more plentiful ....
