The door shot confirms it's a short wheel base, the ****pit pic shows the grab handle for the glove box which is pre '60 and the nose shot shows a splitter in the LHS air collector

I would go with 30931 as the remains of a '57 Veloce

Chris Boles needs to add these numbers to his list. I have the 30588 engine, just one number off. . I'm still looking for the chassis mate somewhere in Europe and lost the trail in Portugal.. We are getting close to identifying the 32 (Fusi) '57 Veloces if that number is real.

I talked to the seller, it's in Hayward near Berkeley. No front frame rails, no inner fenders, no firewall, not much tunnel, and some kind of American differential. Big big project. Too bad it was done to a Veloce, but this car didn't used to be worth anything, and no one cared then.

Very reliable sources tell me that the guy wanted $5,000 for the car remnants. :surprise:

The basic Economic principle of Supply and Demand have been violated, or should I have said grossly exaggerated? Somehow this makes me dizzy!
