Hi folks I've searched the forum but cannot find an answer. Can a 1.8 giulietta (1979) head be used on a 105 1750 block. I feel a bit stupid for asking but want to be sure.

Yes , it will work.

Nord engines are like a big construction kit.

You only need to know which combinations are possible and/or which mods needs to be done.

Late 1600 & 1800 (which in reality is the same capacity like the 1750) heads are eben the same. As well you even could put a 1600 head on a 1300 block.

You even can use a late TS head on a genuine Nord Block, but w/several specific mods only.

In the earlier 1750 era, the 1750 head will fit on a 1600 and vice versa, but the 1750 has larger bore for head studs. And slightly larger chamfer on the combustion chamber because of the larger cylinder bore. But a 1750/1.8 should be the same thing.
