Did anybody take the doorknobs from the Giulia or Giulietta ss apart?
I had three pairs chromed and they were disassembled.
It seems an impossible task to put those back together.
I mailed the original maker Giobert, but no answer.

Are you having problems with the tumblers and springs or has the plating been applied to heavy to allow the parts to go together? I had my parts plated and used Tony Euganeo, a locksmith, who does porsche and Ferrari locks to do the fiddley springs and tumblers.

Yes Bill,
I got the locks back with the tumblers and springs apart.
There are about 12 springs and tumblers per knob, which are totally worn.
I wouldn't know how to put these together.
The plated parts fit perfectly together.

Hi Marc, if you send the lock pieces tumblers springs and the KEY Tony can assemble them for you. He can also make pieces if they are worn. You may have to wait a month or more for return, but the cost is very reasonable, Tony has and add in the Porsche 356 registry and he can be reached at. Tony Euganeo, 501 Folcroft Ave., Sharon Hill, Pa. USA His phone is 610-461-0519. I didn't have the patients, tools nor eyesight to do this, they came back and worked perfectly.
