Can anyone help me here? There has been a green 1300 Giulia Super advertised in Washington for some time, at a price of $29,995. I contacted the dealer where the car was consigned, and he said it "might be back on the market in a month."

I find the price very high, but would be interested in talking to the owner. I believe this car was on the Alfa BB before when it was in DC, but I'm not sure.

You see, what happened was I took my 1967 GTV to Bill Gilham's for some fettling, and he loaned me "Hooligan," his blue Giulia Super to drive home (pictured below). I was sold, and so was my wife. Especially when she saw how much room there was in the back seat for our five-year-old.

I'm looking for a decent driver, not a show car. Minor flaws in upholstery or bodywork don't scare me. I'd rather have a larger motor car, but this green car looks great and isn't too far away. If you've got something else to run by me, please do. Or if you can help me sleuth down this green car, or anything about its history, that would be great as well.- Keith Martin

Looks like the same car, but boy has it been for sale for a long time!
At $29,995 it would be. The current "SCM Price Guide" shows that amount to be $10K above the high end of the price range for '65 - '72 Giulia Supers.

Re green 1300 Giulia Super in Seattle: I believe it's owned by Joe English, owner of
Group 2 Motorsports in Seattle, 206-378-0900. He's a great guy, has an excellent shop and is a long time Alfa man. The car was on Craigslist for awhile, then moved or consigned to Munich Evolution Seattle. Beautiful car although a bit pricey (probably why it hasn't sold).
