1600cc 5 speed gearbox. Does anyone know the size of the the o'rings that the 3 shifter rods slide through? I never replaced them in the past, but, they are 55+ years old and can be the source of an oil leak if they fail. @Jim G ? @Alfar7 ? Thank you.

I used 14x2.5mm Buna(Nitrile) 70 and work fine.Metric Buna O-rings 14 x 2.5mm Minimum 25 pcs Silicone and Viton are also available so I hope someone chimes in with advice on the best material to use.I seem to remember another member using a 3mm cross-section but don't know what diameter that was..

See above, but while the shafts are out polish a longer taper to ease insertion on new thicker o-rings with grease lube.
