Secure your selector forks with trusty brand new tab washers. No need to gently massage your old tab washers for fear of them cracking. Nothing is better than new!
I had to make three new washers for my trany rebuild and decided to blow the expense and get about 20 of these little suckers laser cut then zinc passivated (black) so they looked and worked like the real thing. After looking at some similar marine applications for outboard motors I decide to go for 0.8mm mild steel instead of the 0.5mm of the original article (the marine stuff was 1.0mm).
They cost me about $5 to make plus a heap of stuffing around so I'm hoping to get $8 for each piece but will trade for handy pieces of advice or similar (15 units only). postage will be extra.
