After many years, my gauges, all 5, are pretty fogged on the inside. I pulled one and it does not look simple to pull the outer front bezel off to clean the inner glass. It seems to be crimped on. Help! What can I do? Tks

It's not too difficult to take the gauges apart but care and patience are advised. There's a short version writeup here.

Thanks!

Thanks Papajam. Do you recommend sending the gauges out for servicing after 38 years. The white paint on a couple of the smaller gauges is peeling, or is servicing something the novice mechanic can tackle (oiling, etc.). I note a place listed in the AROC newsletter. I plan on keeping the car for a long time and am rehabilitating it after many years of good but kind use, Might get the chrome redone also. Thanks, BGB
