Just spray some salt water on the metal that needs removed and wait a couple weeks.....
Where are you planning on putting the cooler? I'll be trying to put one in later this winter or early spring and I'd be curious to see what kind of mounting position you came up with. I'm going to be challenged with putting in both an oil cooler and an intercooler..( i need a wee bit more room for an oil cooler)

Ditto - even in Houston.....Usually I have enough trouble just trying to get the seven quarts up to temperature.
Not the surface of the sun, just the track, and I also tow a trailer...Where the heck are you guys driving that you need an oil cooler? The surface of the sun?
