Here's a little nugget:
When I first got my Berlina I was driving it around when the Fuel pump light went on and my Fuel pump fuse blew. I replaced it and it kept on blowing. I couldn't figure it out. Finally I checked went to the trunk and lifted the mat. Underneath is the hot wire that goes to the fuel pump. Well, there is a connector that was grounding out on the bare metal of the trunk and causing the fuel pump to suck mass juice and blow the fuse.
I simply wrapped the connectors that were grounding out in electrical tape and bingo, problem solved.
Just something to keep in mind. I know that that wire runs the length of the trunk in the Berlina/Spider and GTVs.
