Can someone please tell me how this type of clamp is tightened and removed - proper tool?

Here you go.. Looks like that only work one time.
They get destroyed when removing.
Should be some US sellers.

Thanks very much. I have looked at so many cars over the years and never noticed this style. The fellow that owned this car worked on many significant race cars.

That type has been used for decades on CV boots. Then the marine industry started using them in the early 90's mainly on PWC's.

There more there to keep people from messing with stuff that shouldn't.

Most marine suppliers are not going to have them. As marine tech's hate the things.

I’ve had no problem removing and replacing when using the correct tool designed for them.

pretty slick, actually. Prefer to others.

oetiker clamps one time use only. for things that are likely to never be removed for the life of the hose and/or part.
