I've tested it and it definitely works. I don't recommend it for California's 91-octane gasoline as with that fuel it can make the engine somewhat pingy, but it'll work.

I live in California, and the fuel here is crappy. I know quite a few people who are using it here but in my car it pinged more than I would like. If you live somewhere you can get better than 91 octane premium you should be fine.

Tom, have you tried Chevron premium?

I think I was using Shell, but the Chevron is still only 91 around here so I'm not sure how much it would help. Basically the Squadra site says the chip requires 93 octane.
