Good, used Twin Spark Motor just imported from Italy. I bought two, rebuilding my own and reselling this one. No waiting, its ready to go. I cannot guarantee anything behind this motor but it was presented to me as a good to go, ready to drop in setup. It will still need several changes to adapt to your 105/115 including the exhaust manifold/ header setup from your choice of vendor (Centerline, Alfaholics, VTI Engineering, Gelders, etc) and also a clutch/ flywheel setup. This is the bare minimum.

This package will include some of the missing pieces which include the full wiring harness, ECU and complete intake setup which will include the intake boot and AFM. I also have a brand new set of flywheel bolts to assist in the conversion into your 105/ 115.

If you dont want/ need the wiring harness and ECU, I can take $200 off the price. Its already on a pallet but you'd have to arrange the pickup and delivery as I dont have a truck or dolly.

also new, and final price. $4750 and an offer to bring it up to Monterey during the Historics. I’m camping at Laguna Seca, so with a proper arrangement and deposit, I will bring it with me... one-way though lol

There used to be a guy on eVilbay... out of Italy selling twofers - the 75 twinsparks on a pallet (not sure if same?) and I bought a pair. Sold one off to a BB member in CA (iachella) for his Alfetta project and I was going to use the other on my 67 Spider. In the end, I decided to rebuild a 2L Nord to keep the classic appearance in my Duetto engine bay, and sold the 2nd off to someone local. In hindsight, I wish I had kept the 2nd TS and found an Alfetta or Milano Gold/Silver project that would have been a cool project to embark on. And before anyone asks, I sold the 1.6L Duetto engine to a guy in WA DC. In hindsight, I shoulda kept that engine around as well...

The upper photo is not of the crankshaft. That is the spigot for the driveshaft.

I'm interested, but this reply has me wondering if we actually know if this crankshaft will have to be drilled before a 105 trans can bolt up, it was never responded to. Is there a consensus on that answer? Kinda makes the difference between something that could be popped in vs a core for rebuild, no?

I’m willing to do more work and remove the bellhousing to confirm it but it’s frustrating that some one popped in and contradicted everyone else and left.

I certainly hope this will be worth it because I’ve had a lot of tire kickers and empty promises in regards to potential buyers. Stay tuned, I’ll pull the bellhousing off and take more pics for you, and others.

I haven't left if it's me you're referring to. I got an Alfetta engine on the floor and the crankshaft isn't drilled for a pilot bearing. Alfa being Alfa, that doesn't mean every Alfetta crank isn't drilled.

Confirmed that the crank is the ‘plug and play’ one you want... might just install this one into my car if people take too long. I already have the flywheel, just need to get the header

Sure, but this motor isnt in Europe. We never got these here. The only motor I found for sale here was $3000 and it was a core motor... on the other side of the country AND the guy wasnt willing to ship.

The only ones I found in Europe also werent cheap, and thats before I spent nearly $1500 to ship it here.

If you can go junkyard hunting you can find a deal, but in America you wont find a Twin Spark, let alone any Alfa Romeos in the junkyards.

getting harder to find everyday. same for 155 heads (or even complete engines). If I find engines, I got buyers lined up. Considering the cost of shipping and all the trouble to take for seller to ship it I think asking price is not unreasonable. (If I sell an engine for around 1250, and I have to prep for shipping to USA I have to make cost en time to do that, price would go up a few hundred of euros. BTW: euro exchange rate has changed, is now 1 to 1 on the dollar.
