Someone please explain what the problem is here! 3 days ago I posted this desirable red Spider at a very fair price. So far I've had zero inquiries and zero comments. Even the rustiest unrestorable pig of an Alfa gets comments here on this forum. Mine is a "turn-key" drive to the beach car ready for summer fun. What gives???

Sometimes people get suspicous about low prices. Here in Europe it would have been bought by a dealer altough I understand that even here the buyers are a bit reluctant. On the photos it looks very healthy and with a very clean interior. Just derust the brakeservo.Good luck.

Looks like a great opportunity for someone on the West Coast.

I got this car from a tenant that owed rent, and am not attached to it. I just want to recoup the $$$ I lost in rent. I originally listed the car at $6500 - no interest. Then $5500 - no interest. Now $4500 - no interest. I can't go any lower, as now the low price looks "suspicious"! I suppose that the AlfaBB isn't the right venue for this Alfa. I'll delete this post and put it on ebay soon.

Might as well keep the listing up and link to the ebay auction.

I think the issue is just that people tend not to scour the earth for S3 spiders as they are pretty common. Your price seems fair the car and I'm sure someone will come around to pay it. Just may take a bit of time for the right person.

timing is everything...most here already have an Alfa. It's really just random luck sometimes when posting a car. Is someone nearby currently looking? The more unique the car is the more the planets must align. I've had cars for sale that sometimes took a couple years to sell. But I drive kinda odd ball cars at times. I just drove them til the right someone had the right $.

Hi I’m interested , do you still have the car ?
Sorry but the car has been sold locally. Surprisingly, there was no interest from anyone here on the AlfaBB!
That doesn't seem surprising to me. I think most people discover this website after they bought a spider already and they start googling about gear oil haha.
