1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6, 59,000 original miles, gold w/ tan leather interior, Recaro seats, 5 spd, sunroof, A/C, power windows, completely stock except for Boston Acoustic speakers in doors and Alpine CD/AM/FM radio. Third owner, timing belt changed at 55,000 miles, along with water pump, and center muffler. Original clutch, no oil leaks or oil burning. Runs well. Smogged last week and car passed well under limits. New battery, new Avon Tech M500 tires, upgrded new style belt tensioner. Interior is in excellent condition with no cracks, tears or rips in the leather or dash. Headliner a little stained so needs upgrading to look perfect. Gold paint shows some fade from age. No dents, two minor dings on right side. Sunroof recently broke a plastic support, so it doesn't seal completely, but it does work. May need a starter or solenoid as there is a occassional click before starting. Otherwise it starts on the first click. This is a great original GTV-6 looking for a good home. It is an all original low mileage car that can be brought to perfect condition with very little work. I have all maintenance records since the car was purchased, including the original window sticker. $5,600 Call Mike (562) 494-3325 or E-mail at [email protected] Photos about 2 years old. Looks the same will post new photos soon. I am in Long Beach, California.

What a sweet looking car. Good luck with the sale.

Man, that looks like a nice one, especially internally - dash looks good, seats look good. Seems like an excellent price. It should go in a hurry. Good luck with the sale.

The deed is done !!!!

I picked up Mike's beautiful GTV6 today and I have to say that it is one sweet ride!
This is the first one that I have ever driven and I now know what everyone raves about. That V6 is wonderfull.
The only bad part is that I must now send it across the pond to it's new owner. Roland, you made a great score!

Still sad to see nice cars leave - not many clean GTV6 around anymore :( I guess it is natural with the WEAK $. Too bad someone local didn't step up - if I had the space I would have...
Jes
I may have stepped up if it were a better color combo. Doesn't really matter what the car is, if it's gold on tan, I just can't stomach it.

But someone made off with a beautifully preserved GTV-6.....congrats to the new owner!
G
Speaking of the weak dollar, I may be wrong but I thought I noticed a few days ago where the Canadian dollar is worth more than the American dollar - talk about hitting bottom, but Holy Toledo! I honestly thought I'd never see the day......were I in Europe I would certainly be taking advantage of the weak American dollar to buy buy buy over here.

I hope the new owner of this nice GTV-6 will keep us updated on her progress.

I'm that someone :D

I think this car is going to a good home and will do my stinking best to keep it in 100% condition

The weak dollar was just one of the reasons for purchasing this car, I was already looking for a rustfree GTV6, have looked at some cars in my area but all were cars with rustproblems or badly restored cars. I also wanted a car with a hide interior and when I saw this car on the BB I immediatly fell in love with it, I realy love this color combination, and it matched al my requirement so it was just the right GTV6 for me !!!

After Randy offered me his help to check the car out for me and wanted to do all the arrangements for shipping it to Belgium things were getting serious,
after having informed myself about shipping, import and tax fees, and getting a very positive report from Randy about the condition of this car I decided to buy the car

Randy, Thanks a lot for picking up the car for me, pictures are looking good !!, the car is in good hands and company,
you are great help and a thrue Alfisti

Thanks to Mike for the smooth transaction, will take good care of the car and wish you a lot of succes with your new purchase

hitting rock bottom? ouch.

It's been equal or better for over a month.
A couple of weeks ago it was $1Cdn = $1.10USD. It's back down to $1.02 or
something, but don't see it going back too much further.
Sold!

Thanks to everyone on the BB that contacted me about the car. The car is sold and I can assure you it's going to a good home. Thanks again,
Mike
Just a little update....

Dropped the GTV6 off at the port of Long Beach today. Should arrive in Zeebrugge, BE. first week of Feb.
What a painless process! Had a shipping broker do all of the booking arrangements, so it was very easy for this first time shipper!

Thanks Mike for all of your help!

Randy
