I'm the PO. We needed the garage space back so I had to pick my daily driver between the GTV and my Berlina...4 doors makes more sense for us right now so I sold the car several weeks ago through Craigslist. It's a decent car but it's done more sitting that driving so needed some freshing up when I sold it (and it sounds like the new seller intends to do this). The following is from conversations I had with interested buyers:
----
The following is what I had planned to do for the car had I kept it:
SHORT TERM
-re-fresh the brakes (as mentioned, rear breaks are a bit sticky)
-install OEM fuel filter (currently by-passed with cheap Kraigen type
nline)
-check the timing (starts up and idles very well, but doesn't have the
giddy-up)
DOWN THE ROAD AND WISH LIST
-cut out and install new floor pan on drivers side
-replace front
grill (PO broke the top portion with the badge)
----
With some refreshing this may be a fair price, but as with any old car make sure you or someone who knows these cars does a thorough inspection before buying so you know what you're getting.
