I believe I read someplace the aluminum Brembo calipers from a Milano could be swapped to the Alfetta if the spacer inserted for vented disc was removed.

Along with that I believe I read the vented disc could be drilled for 4x98 and use the V6 calipers.

any first hand experience out there?

My Volvo 850 had a pin that stuck out of the rotor. hang the wheel on that to pivot the wheel to line up a bolt hole. I can see how it would be more of a pita to do without it.

Milano / 75 front rotor thickness

ventilated front rotors

new = 22mm

max wear thickness = 20mm

Why are the Alfa one's so thick?

More mass, better heat dissipation, and all that goes with it - maybe

That's reassuring. While motorcycles don't weigh as much as cars, but go danm fast, their rotors are almost razor thin. How come?

Usually the rotor has great ventilation and is stopping a lot less mass would be my guess.
