From chrome plated to inox -1.serie Sedan bumpers-what year??? Restored inox bumper.

Hi
I am restoring inox bumper for amigo and would like to know what year alfa started to use inox material for sedan 1.serie bumpers,please help.

Hello Franjo,

As far as I know, only the 1600TI and 1300TI had chromed steel bumpers. All the others Inox. The TI Super uses the eraly 1300 bumpers without overriders.
But be careful. At last count, I had (really) 11 different types of rear bumpers. All of them Giulia. From TI to Nuova. A science in itself...
Some with license plate light plinth on the body, some on the bumper. Overriders in different places, new versus old style overriders etc etc

1300 or 1600 TI through the run after the chromed bumpers (various makers, Cane, Iilea, etc.) and 1st Series 65-67 Supers. Maybe a 68 also?
