Hello,

Is it too late to sign up for the French & Italian car show? If not how and where do I sign up(on-line)? Thanks in advance.

It's not too late; postmark deadline for an entry is 25 October (mail only--no online registration). Here's a link to the web site: http://franceanditaly.com/
Can we get over 100 Alfas on the lawn this year??
I will be bringing my '94 Q down if I can get the dent in the hood fixed in time.
Velocedoc had written: "I will be bringing my '94 Q down if I can get the dent in the hood fixed in time."

Well, if you can't get the dent fixed, just park your picnic basket over it. Or better yet, don't worry about it. Pebble Beach this ain't! The objective is to show up and have fun - your's won't be the only dent there.
I have seen the most amount of Alfa's at this event out of most all others I have been to. I lookk forward to it every year.

Chris,
Just park next to my Milano, with the clear coat almost pealed off.
Nobody will notice a dent on yours.
See you there.

I am going to try to make it but not sure this year. Maybe next. First year I went was not too bad.

Does anybody happen to know of a "good" car wash in the general area of the show? I'm sure that I will need to "hose" off the car a bit after the trip down. BTW: I am driving down from the South SF Bay Area on the Saturday (Nov 3rd) before the show if anybody is interested in caravaning down please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I know of a good one about 15 min away from the show. I sometimes stop there and wash my car before the show. They open at 8:00am. Email me if you don't find anything closer.

Thanks Anthony!

I missed the the cutoff for mailing, by a day. Can we still register/pay at the "door?" I don't see any mention of that on the website.

Thanks,
Brett

No problem, a lot of people drive up and pay at the uh "door." It's very informal and there's plenty of space. If you can print and fill out the release form in advance it will save you some time when you get there.

I'm bummed that I will not be able to attend this year's show. I'm hoping that you guys take lots of pictures as well. I'm flying to Hokkaido, Japan tomorrow to visit my in-laws. I will keep my camera handy for any Alfa sightings.
I will do some do-nuts for you Kai!

Just a few more days everyone. The weather looks like it'll be nice.
I'm going to try tempt Judy with some "The best of Italy and France" for her B'day. :p :D

I'll be driving down from Santa Barbara on Sunday morning in the GTV6 if anyone from the Central Coast would like to caravan and maybe stop for breakfast along the way.
We've been in full swing for the past 3 days finishing up some cars. We'll be debuting some newly restored cars on Sunday: 58 Giulietta Spider Veloce, 62 2600 Berlina, 66 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce race car, 67 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, 78 Alfetta Sport Sedan, and a 74 GTV. The final cars get picked up tomorrow and I can finally start getting my stuff ready! Less than 48 hours till show time!
