Found my BWA's but no lug nuts, Campy lugs dont work?

749 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Ferrariguy86
I went to install my freshly tired BWA's on my spider this morning. Everything was going well until I realized the factory Campagnolo lugnuts will not work on my BWA star alloys. Any suggestions as to where I can source the correct lugnuts? Can I go with open lugs? *any reason not to?

Thanks in advance! Sooo bummed we finally got to 50 degrees today and tomorrow and I had planned on using the spider all weekend.

Any chance you can post a pic of your lug nuts and the wheel mounting holes ?
It would help to identify the right parts .
The wheels I have the lug nuts I do not have.

I would be happy to post a picture of the wheels. They are BWA star wheels.

The lug nuts sadly I am trying to source.

Based on the pictures on your other post, I guess I have BWA wheels on my spider. They came with the car and I really know nohting about them. I purchased the car last August and the seller said he thought they were a dealer installed option. I have a 86 gradutate. One thing I noticed about by lugs is that I use a SAE socket to remove them, 13/16 if I remember right. So I am guessing you may need longer or shorter studs as well, as I am assuming mine were swapped out when the wheels were changed. If you have not figured out your hardware, post is a bit old, and you need me to measure my studs or send pictures of the lugs just let me know. I would also be interested to know a little more about these wheels. Are they GTV wheels? After market? Just let me know.
Serpent Auto hooked me up

With some open ended lugnuts and the wheels look great!
