Hi
I'm doing the clutch on my 164 L , I've done it before so its not an issue.
This time I would like to remove the flywheel and have it trued so qustion one would be is there anything to it other than removing the bolts. Second question would be while I'm in there how big of a deal is it to replace the rear crankshaft seal.
Thanks In Advance for your help

I just at the same point in my clutch job as you. The flywheel can only go on one way, so take your impact and take out the bolts. You should have your flywheel turned any way, so the only extra time is the R & R of the seal. With a standard seal puller, it should take about 5 minutes to remove the old one, and maybe 10 to install a new seal, faster if you have the factory tool to drive in the seal. I would not do a clutch job without a resurface, replacing the rear main, input shaft seal, and both axle seals. It is easier to do it right once than have to do it again a second time. Good luck.
