To all who hold the knowledge:
So....I have started to take apart my 69 GTV to assess and prioritize the work that needs to be done. Obviously it is a bit (ha ha) rusty. I cut open the floor on the passenger side to see what was up under...I discovered the floor support pictured below...But here is the question: is it just a floor support. Can I take it out altogether in order to replace it ( will have to fabricate one I guess) or is the car going to fold in half? Inner sills are OK. I can't see it doing much structurally in its current shape but figured I'd better ask....
