Hi All,

I've become interested in the Fiat 1400 platform of the early 1950s and the wide range of variants that were commissioned by the great Italian body builders.

This week a Fiat 1400 advertised as a Vignale-bodied car was offered on Ebay out of Rome. The auction may well conclude without any bidders, but I wanted to use Alfabb to preserve the seller's photos so someone might benefit from them later on. I have benefited from so many images generously posted on this site and just didn't want these, of such an original and unique car, to slip away.

As future Fiat 1400s are discovered, maybe this thread will grow.

Here is the ebay description for preservation as well:

"This is ultra rare ’50 Vignale Fiat prototype.
It was originally blue and has a hand-made aluminum body( with the exception of the nose).Rear glass are plexiglas.
The interior features good looking gauges and trim, especially for a prototype. The car is running.
Complete,easy restored.Matching number.
Aluminium body is in very good condition
no corrosion, no holes, no dents very easy to restore to perfection
it is not a difficult project.
Original document Rome."
