Absolutely lovely Flaminia (except for the bumper over-riders). It is a 1st series 2.5, probably single carb, as it doesn't show a 3C badge on the hood or grill that I can see.

As for the color, while it is not a stock color, they could be ordered any way you wanted, and could well be original paint. I have seen other Lancias of the era this color, either from new or repainted in the era.

A car I'd love to make my own....

Now, on a more prosaic note, about the SAAB. A stroker?

This was at a private collection, with around 60 or so cars, most of them have been sitting there for years without moving.

The Flaminia is a 2.5 with 1 carb, and really didn't pay too much attention to the Saab, too many cars fighting for attention.....

A few more pics of the carrera, and the Flaminia engine

The strange bumper on the Flaminia could be a replacement necessary in the US market.
This car was never in the US. My feeling is that it has more to do with the owner's propensity to modify cars. He had a number of Mustangs that had been "transformed" either into Jaguar XKEs or Avantis'.......
