Is anyone running the federal ss-595 tires in the 205/60/14 size. If so do they rub at all and how do you like them?

I ask because I have read that the federals run wider then other tires.

Thanks

Which body?

I have 205/60-14, not Federal, on Bosch wheels on an 85 Spider, never rubs. On a GTV, Super, or Berlina might be a different matter.

Hey Andrew,

Its a 71 spider that belonged to a friend of mine that passed away. Same place the brake gauges came from. It has 205-60-14 on it. That are mounted on original cromadra star rims. The ones on it are barely worn but they have been sitting for 18 years.

I talked to Federal and they gave me the measurements so I compared it to a new Dunlop D60 A2 I have mounted on a BWA rim. The federals are bigger but just slightly. I don't think I'll have a problem. But if you were using them on a car with the same size tire and it was already real close to rubbing. These might rub.
