Too bad the deal with Renault-Nissan fell through a few months ago (thanks to interference by the French government). 60 years of collaboration history between Alfa and Renault, and 35 years of collaboration history with Nissan went down the tube when that happened.

When Maserati Went Electric.....

https://jalopnik.com/maserati-pivots-to-evs-alfa-romeo-scaling-down-and-no-1839532334

Next up is Alfa Romeo. Things don’t seem great there.

Manley said, “In the near term, the new portfolio for the brand is significantly scaled back with a corresponding reduction in capital spending.” It’s not completely clear what that entails, but probably means that cool Alfa 8C mid-engine hybrid supercar thingy probably won’t happen.

Not surprising. Alfa’s U.S. sales have been quite dismal, with even the Stelvio crossover failing to make a big impact.

too bad we got this Manley in charge of company, Alfa is down again, just when we got 2 great models, they slow developmentn. This was nothing new after Manleys comments when he spoke he want to separate Alfa and Maserati year or 2 ago. This was just matter of time when this happens. Now we get 2 new Alfa SUV and 7 new Maserati models. When those 2 new Alfa models come for sale Giulia/Stelvio is already 7 or 8 years old, and we are back in 2 model lineup. Alfa will grow never when they dont have patience at all.
