Saturday October 6th
Enjoy a relaxing and colorful Saturday drive
through the kames and kettles of Washington &
Dodge counties. We will do the same start and
finish location as last year but the route will be
different. This is a low key event. It is not a rally
and there are no trick questions. You can even
bring your GPS if you wish. Sufficient time will
be provided to stop for photos, stretch your legs,
and if you are so inclined visit some of the shops
in Hartford before doing lunch at the Mine Shaft
Restaurant with an optional visit to the
Wisconsin Auto Museum.

We’ll share the highlights of the day
and continue Alfa talk over lunch. Lunch is at 12:30
pm at the Mine Shaft Restaurant, 22 North Main
Street in Hartford (NE corner of Hwy 60 and Hwy
83). Parking lot is in the rear.

If your schedule allows, join us after lunch for a
tour of Wisconsin's largest auto museum. It is just a
couple blocks west of the Mineshaft in Hartford. It
features an ever-growing display of 105 classic,
vintage autos and automotive artifacts. The
museum is home of the SE WI Short Track Hall of
Fame and the Kissel Kar Klub. Admission is $10
and the museum is open until 5 pm.

Arrive early if you’d like to tour the church and
grounds on your own or come early just to
engage in Alfa talk before the start of the tour.
Departures start promptly at 10:00 am from the
Holy Hill lower parking lot. Holy Hill is also
known as the Basilica of the National Shrine of
Mary, Help of Christians, 1525 Carmel Road,
Huburtus, WI. Enter off of Hwy 167
(Holy Hill Rd.) between Hwy CC
(Augustine Rd.) and Hwy K. Car
departures will be spaced 3 - 5 minutes
apart. Directions/map will be provided.
