I was wondering if there is a difference between the 1994 Euro ECU and a 1994 USA ECU? I know there must be a difference between the 1995 because of the extra smog valve on the back of the intake. Never the less is there a problem installed a Euro ECU in either a 1994 or 1995? I am thinking of picking up a spare computer to have on the shelf.

Chris the ECU that I have is a "Euro" one. I think it is the same as the 94 US cars but not 100%. I have put it in one of my old LS cars and it worked without a problem no check engine light and all!

1994-1995 ECU is the same in Europe as 1994 ECU in USA. But there are some different ones in other countries like Argentina which use a different number which we assume to be an EGR ecu which would most likely work too.

1995 ECU will work in a 1994 as well. and vise versa except it will not run EGR.
