Replacing and upgrading the suspension and adding new brakes, are the same parts used as a 2.0GTV in the 1300-1600 cars. I'm orderind tie rods, bushings and new calipers. Since this car is Euro only I'm having difficulties identifying what works, I'd think that most everything on my car is the same as on a 2.0 car except engine related components. Is that correct?

In the case of the South African cars and others in Europe that I'm aware of, the 1300 & 1600 Juniors that shared the Series II Bodies with the 1750 & 2000 GTV's all used the smaller front brakes, different kingpins or swivels, the 4.55 rear axle (in our world 1750 GTV's got 4.3 LS and 2000 GTV's got 4.1 LS). Drive shafts were the small universal joint versions.

I had a '76 GT 1600 Junior De Luxe, with the 2000 GTV body and 1600 drivetrain, lots of overlap between parts, seems like Luigi fitted what he had at the time. It was somewhat entertaining rebuilding it.

Sold it to fund half my current 18 car garage - I got the better deal
