Hi All

Posted in the 1966 Giulia saloon section how the engine died after running well, then restarted after 50 minutes when trailered home. I queried whether a coil or condenser could fail then work after some jiggling? All connections look good.

Now it occurs to me intermittent ignition switch failure? Lifting and lowering car on flat bed jogged the switch to good connection....

Are there any culprits I've missed? All the above just seem implausible.....

Thanks

Richard

Carry a voltmeter with you and if it dies again check for 12 volts between ground and coil + with ignition turned on. It you have it then the ign switch is OK.

Thanks Ed

Yes, will do....I intend to replace coil/condenser as easy fix, but a test for the ignition switch is good news.
