I'm considering using the engine mount from this site:
http://www.alfacybersite.com/ACSEngineStand.html

Has anyone used this?
How did you like it?
Does anyone have one they would like to sell? I tried sending an E mail to Jim Steck & it bounced back. There is a PDF drawing of this mount & I could have my welder make one.

I've had Norman Racing make two of these form me, and they work fine on normal cheapie Chinese/HFT stands. These engines are not heavy enough for there to be a worry about carrying it from just one side. I'm very happy with mine.

Thanks Andrew,
It's hard to tell from the photos, what holds the adapter into the engine stand? Also if you turn the motor is there a way to secure it?

Thanks

You could easily drill more holes for the securing pin to hold it rotated if needed.

I made myself a backyard version with no welding required by cutting up a large rectangular steel box section and bolting it (using 2 of the 4 original bolts) to the stand's original mounting plate. Also works fine.
