Hi
I own a 1979 series 2 spider (ex California) but at some stage in the past it was fitted with a 1979/1980 2 litre Alfetta engine. At least the block is Alfetta but I do not know if the original 105/115 head was used. Are there stampings on the head to identify it?
The cams are definitely from USA 105 engine and I am hoping the cam caps are as well.
Does anybody know the part number of the cam shafts used in 1980 Alfetta engine and what the stock lobe centre setting is? I have the centreline chart for 105 cams does one exist for 116 engines?
Thanks
Simon

It's my understanding that the Alfetta crankshaft was never drilled for a clutch pilot bushing, making that engine not fit into a spider. Perhaps you have something else?
