Elkhart Lake's best Vintage weekend! Saturday features a tour of the Historic Road Course, ending in the village square for a Vintage Car Show with food and automobilia vendors. The "Spirit of Elkhart Lake" Trophy is awarded to the driver who best represents vintage motoring (vintage attire encouraged) and remains on display in the village with the winners name engraved on it, becoming a part of Elkhart Lake automobile lore.

To enter the Road Course Recreation Tour: you will need to purchase a general admission ticket, then go to the Registration building at Road America on Saturday Sept. 15 for your RCR credentials. A "Race Elkhart Lake" placard will be given to you and must be displayed to participate. Line up at 1:30 inside Road America Gate 5 for a police escorted tour around the Road Course which leaves at 2pm. Space is limited so register early. Then angle park on Lake St. in downtown Elkhart Lake between the bank and Elm. St until 5 pm, when they must be legally (parallel) parked. Enjoy the evening in the wonderful restaurants of Elkhart Lake, and wander over to the Osthoff at 4-7pm for the "Gather on the Green" ****tail reception prior to the VSCDA banquet, with a display of 25 significant cars on the lawn of the Osthoff.

More information at www.raceelvf.org or www.vscda.org
Hope to see you there!

Hi Tom, You can do the tour in any year car, but the Vintage Car Show parking afterwards (as the name would have you believe) is reserved for pre-1978 cars only.

Cheers, Bill
