Posted this is on the UK forum, but there seems to be more TS conversions over here.

After a year, I have finally given up trying to convert my original Rev counter. So I need to buy one.

My main question is, a lot of the ones I look at seem to say 'only for single coil ignition systems. And I guess in the twinspark is dual coil in this instance. But as the twin spark takes the pulse from one coil, does this matter??

Does anyone have any recommendations for one? (Other than stack as they are a little out of my budget!)

Also, I will need an oil pressure guage as mine was built in with the Rev counter.. Are any gauges directly compatible with the twin spark pressure sender? Or will I need to fit a new sender too?

Wouldn't the stock rev counter work if hooked up to only one coil? Or does the TS use a wasted spark system.

Wait a minute. An S3 Jr with an electronic rev counter?

Is it not possible to install the mechanical rev counter drive on a TS engine? Isn't it driven off the intermediate cam chain drive gear? The TS has to have one of those too, but yeah with out the rev counter drive.

But otherwise surely you could put a electronic one's guts in behind the genuine gauge face?, meaning you still have your oil pressure gauge. And yes I would have though just reading off one coil would work, I think.

Alfa 75TS original rev counter plugs to one of the coils (single white tab connector), so any other 4 cylinder rev meter that takes signal from coil should work in my opinion.

its a lot of fiddly work to get the TS rev counter guts behind the stick 105 with oil pressure pod... Iv done it!! I had it working briefly, but must have crossed some wires and blown!

So i got hold of another one, but havent got it to work. Although i have a feeling this latest counter was actually out of a v6 75.. so i presume it take the signal differently?
