I am going to sell some parts to a overseas Alfa guy but want to test parts before sending . The switch I have is not compatible with my 79 spider. He wants one for a 73. What is the pinout? Can it be checked with a multimeter because I tried that with 2 switches. Internal resistance??

The original rocker switches have 8 terminals. Some aftermarket switches have fewer but they require changes to the circuit to make them work.

Ok I blew it in my last post I was looking at the fan switch, my 79 has arm sticking out behind the steering wheel. I would still like a pinout of the switch to test.

There are 4 pairs of terminals. In position 1 the first pair are connected to the second pair. In position 2 the second pair are connected to the 3rd pair. In position 3 the 3rd pair are connected to the 4th pair.
