This is the great thorough renovation of the heating system. It looks really good. Did you flush the heater unit or did you use some chemicals?
The heater in my '70 is very dusty where I can not get to it, but it heats well and the fan is OK.

does the dash have to come out ?

Hi Willie , i have a 75 junior with the same dash as yours , i need to refresh the heater unit as you have done , do you know if the dash has to come out to remove the unit ? on one of our cars ? i have no AC , no , center consul etc .

You can remove the unit without tampering with the dash.

Thank you for the great photos and documentation. I helped greatly while restoring my own heater box.

It really is incredibly helpful when someone takes the time to photo-document their project.
