I wonder if anyone has the rubber grommet that surrounds the Neiman lock still? I cannot remember if my 1967 had it from factory. I was restoring the lock and found this spare at Classicalfa who claims it was on 1966 and on. I searched som pics at the Duettoregister.com but could not see anything of this.

Also, the black plastic part, the ignition switch, that does the wiring at the back seems to have been used o Ferraris 1970-1990. Lucky it's still avaliable, it was the same as on our Duettos.

The trim ring is shown in both the 1600 and 1750 parts manuals. In the 1750 parts manual there are part numbers for the SIPEA and Neiman switch trim rings.

Thanks Brian. Never noticed it before. I wonder how many of us that still have it. I saw a Fiat 124 Spider many years ago, it was in the Italian rosso, bianco e verde.

Willie R…..thanks for the discovery. After 52 years you show me a part I have never had, and that includes 5 Spider 1600‘s that I have cared for. Here is a photo from a dealer sales brochure showing the trim ring.

I noticed it on the sales brochure as well. This picture is dated January 1968. It not there.
