Recently went for driveshaft re-build, and only real anomaly was "cupped-out" driveshaft bushing. Was totally out of grease, and felt had dried completely up. Awaiting part to put back together next weekend. Understand this "centers" lay shaft, and all turns together, but what could have caused the "cupping," and how important is this entire mechanism? Exposed end of lay shaft not at all deformed, round and complete, and rubber seal looks like new. Thanks for any input. Skip Watson
