Driver mirror wires...neither mirror works now.

I had my S4 driver mirror repainted. The shop removed the mirror, and must have opened the inner door panel to get at it. When I picked the car up neither mirror worked off of the switch. I have the courtesy light working...so theoretically the No.4 fuse is not blown. The passenger side mirror worked too prior to painting.
Take a look at the photo of the door. Two of these are for the mirror, the other I guess is for the window. The whit and black pug has 2 blue wires coming in and out. The red plug only has a yellow wire in and out.
Any thoughts on what is wrong?

so after they went to work, neither mirror now works?
Great!
Obviously you need to get inside the door to remove the mirror...(unless they just masked it off and painted it on the car)

the white/black plug (with the blue/black and the blue wire) and the red plug (with the yellow wire) is for the driver's side door mirror.
My guess (and it is just that...!) would be yellow is power and the blue and the blue/black is left-right and up-down.

The yellow wire seems to be the common denominator that connects both left and right side mirrors...is that plugged in properly, the pins haven't been pulled out of the connector a little?

Yes they did remove the mirror to paint it. Thanks, I hadn't thought of the connections inside of the mirror, to see if the yellow wire was still connected. How do you remove the mirror glass to get inside?
I did check the plugs, but I'll open them up and clean the ends.
I wonder if there could be an additional fuse besides #4?

I wouldn’t try get the glass off…. I tried on mine and it was not moving…. Gave up for fear of cracking it!
I very much doubt it is connection to motor.
I would just check ALL fuses…..to be sure

I presume the mirrors worked perfectly before those guys worked on the driver’s side?
Yes they both worked. Although the right side mirror had the left/right position reversed. I assumed someone connected the wires the wrong way...but they worked.
I'll go replace fuses next.
Thanks
if you have a voltmeter, test if power is coming to the connector

Ignition has to be on for them to work ...afaik
Fuse is ok. Figuring out how to open the fuse box will be a separate conversation.
I'll try the voltmeter. But my guess now is that they separated the two sections of the mirror to paint them so that the can still rotate...and that may be where the electrical problem is.
Since neither mirror now works...can someone tell me if the mirror control works when the key is off on an s4? The brake lights and clock work with the key off and are on the same fuse...so I would guess that the mirrors should work when the key is off too.
Thanks
