On Saturday, March 5, AROC-CT has been invited to tour the new showroom of Dragone Classic Motorcars (see link below).

Dragone Classic Car Restorations - Located in Bridgeport Connecticut

They are located at 176 Post Road West, Westport, CT 06880, and plan to arrive about 11:00 AM.

The following cars will be on display.

1907 Fiat Targa Florio Corsa
1939/42 Alfa Romeo 6C2500 SS
1949 Alfa Romeo 6C2500 SS Berlinetta
1954 Alfa Romeo 1900 SS with one-off coachwork by Ghia

AROC-CT will arrange to have lunch provided, and thus we need a head count. Please contact me no later than March 1 if you plan to attend and the number of people in your party.

I have posted a few photos from this event here:

Can someone confirm for me the year of the Ghia-bodied Alfa? I now see the announcement said 1954, but a sticker on the windshield said 1953, which is the date I used on my photo captions.
Bob,
Many thanks for the wonderful photo album, and we had a great turn out for this event.

With regard to the Ghia-bodied Alfa, the Dragone description of the car states that it "was a 1954 Ghia Auto Show car", whereas the windshield sticker is a NY registration sticker. That's all I know.
