Dear experts,

by chance I have a pair of doorhandels which I suppose to be from a 6C 2500 SS Villa d'Este Coupé. They are in good restorable condition and both have the serial number 43179. Would have posted the topic in the for sale section but I am not sure whether they really belong to a Villa d'Este Coupé? Thanks for any hint...

Regards Giovanni

Typical of the VdE and some SS/Aerlux. My opinion is Touring adopted this model in the late 1948-1950 production.

Door Handles

My 1948 Alfa 6c 2500SS Touring coupe has these same door handles. It was the car made prior to the Villa D'Este. These handles are horribly complex, so make sure you know how they go together before taking them apart. Some of the screws are very tiny and easily lost. I am in the process of restoring mine and will complete one before starting the one on the other side.
